Child Assistant for Mobilization and Participation (CAMP) published the book on "PEACE BUILDING" to show the importance of children and youth involvement in our society, including the government sector, NGOs. The content of the book is based on PEACE.

Different studies were conducted concerning children's and youths' contribution to peace building. The book is also about difficult circumstances and obstacles children and youths have faced. It relates the impressions of the young people, perspectives of influential people and various NGO along with recommendations from the government sector, NGOs and other children and youths.

Some Information in the book based on discussions with children and youths in two workshops organized and facilitated by CAMP. The first workshop, "Peace building thought voluntary network", was attended by representatives from PEG-K, PEG-R of World Vision Cambodia, WPM, CC and SEC. The second workshop on "The importance of Children and Youths Participation in Peace Building" was attended by children and youths who were representative from SCAPE, CYD, KYSD, SEC, KYCC, WPM, CC and YFP.

Moreover, during the second workshop the Program Manager of CRF, Director of SKAPE, and coordinator of Cambokids exchanged their experiences with the participants. Information was also obtained from interviews with the children and youths, who are part of the network of CAMP and some NGO workers who have experiences in coordinating and promoting children's participation. CAMP hope that this book will help readers understand the importance of young people's participation in peace building.

We also hope that it will encourage the Cambodian governments, local and international NGO's to provide training and opportunities for the children and youths to participate in the development of real peace in Cambodia. This book was produced in two languages.
